This feast is all about drums and barrels. At the stroke of midnight on 20th of January, the sound of drums fill the city as the city flag is raised in the Plaza de Constitucion. For one whole day - from midnight to midnight - these drums play without stopping, so prepare your ears for a deafening celebration!

There is also a parade that features members of the different gastronomic societies in San Sebastian (whose members are mostly, if not exclusively, men).
